We have translated and annotated an extended review from "Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine" reporting on the publication, in English translation, of "Promenade de Dieppe aux montagnes d'Écosse" by Charles Nodier ("Promenade from Dieppe to the Mountains of Scotland", Edinburg, Blackwood, London, Cadell, 1822). This paper aims to answer the following two questions: is expressivity – defined by Jakobson (1963) as one of the six functions of language – a suitable category to describe specialized discourse? And if yes, what could the possible markers for this category be at the syntactical level? The analysed corpus is made up of comparable texts, actually stock exchange reports from the online versions of French and German daily newspapers. La ricerca avviata sul rapporto tra l’Abbé Du Bos e Jean–Jacques Rousseau è rivolta a rintracciare presenze dubosiane (esplicite o implicite) all’interno degli scritti rousseauiani e, secondariamente, a indicare come alcuni temi affrontati da Du Bos nelle sue Réflexions critiques sur la poésie et la peinture (1719) trovino spazio di adesione, problematizzazione, approfondimento, revisione o negazione in Rousseau. Cette contribution expose les problematiques du PCR « Des Traces et des Hommes », un projet de recherche interdisciplinaire sur les modalites d’acquisition et de traitement des matieres vegetales et animales au Paleolithique moyen en Europe occidentale. Elle presente brievement les differentes experimentations effectuees entre 2007 et 2009 et les resultats preliminaires obtenus dans chacun des themes developpes.

Pēc holecistektomijas jatrogēni izraisītu žultsceļu bojājumu ietekme uz atkārtotu diagnostisko izmeklējumu un hospitalizācijas biežumu

Holecistektomija ir viena no visbiežāk veiktajām procedūrām pasaulē. Žultsvadu bojājumi noved pie sarežģītām rekonstrukcijas operācijām, ilgstošas hospitalizācijas, atkārtotām diagnostiskām pārbaudēm un augsta ilgstošu komplikāciju riska, kas ir izmaksu pieauguma iemesls. Lai identificētu bojājumus un ar to saistītās komplikācijas, tiek izmantots plašs diagnostikas metožu klāsts. Pētījuma mērķi: Novērtēt, kā jatrogēns žultsvadu bojājums (BDI, no angļu „biliary duct injury”) pēc holecistektomijas ietekmē diagnostisko izmeklējumu apjomu un atkārtotas hospitalizācijas biežumu. Koblācija savu popularitāti iemantojusi ar vairākām priekšrocībām, salīdzinot to ar konvencionālo elektroķirurģiju, bet literatūra, kas apraksta tās ietekmi uz brūces parametriem ir ļoti limitēta. Diplomdarbs tika izstrādāts ar mērķi noteikt galvenās un nozīmīgākās atšķirības starp koblācijas veidotas brūces parametriem, izmantojot dažādas jaudas, elektrodus un enerģijas ģeneratorus. Brūces tika veidotas trīs atšķirīgos audos – nierē, mēlē un ādā. Pētījuma praktiskā daļa tika veikta sadarbībā ar MedTecResearch centru Vācijā un Rīgas Austrumu klīniskās universitātes slimnīcas Patoloģijas centru.
